Wow, what a great day I had photographing Wendy and Steve’s wedding at the stunning Bowcliffe Hall near Wetherby. Wendy and Steve wanted a fun filled wedding which reflected their love of travel and adventure. The colour scheme for the day was a beautiful emerald green, which is the colour of Wendy’s birth stone and also her favourite colour. Wendy designed her own bespoke wedding dress which was handmade by her Mum.
I love all the unique and unusual touches from their wedding, such as the paper map flowers used to create the bridesmaid posies and button holes as well as the suitcase wedding cake. It was an absolute delight to photograph, everywhere I looked there was something else to capture.
There was plenty of fun entertainment provided to keep their guests amused, including a snowball fight, Scalextric race track and a paper aeroplane race.
