It’s a pleasure to share some of the photos from Nikki and Charles’s whimsical inspired summer wedding. I was particularly looking forward to photograhing this wedding as it took place in my hometown of Malton. It’s always great to photograph a wedding in Malton as there are always some familiar faces on the day.
The ceremony took place at St Mary’s Priory Church in the picturesque village of Old Malton. Nikki and her bridesmaids arrived in style in their black and white taxi wedding cars. After the ceremony we moved onto Spencer’s Bar and Grill near Pickering, which had been transformed into a perfect, whimsical inspired, wedding reception overlooking the river.
Yellow was the key colour theme for the day, perfect for a summer wedding. Nikki chose vibrant sunflowers and yellow roses for her wedding bouquets and table centrepieces. I also love their yellow ombre wedding cake.
Finally, what summer wedding would be complete without the presence of an ice cream van? Nikki and Charles had great fun making a selection of ice creams for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you Nikki and Charles for a fabulous day, it was a pleasure to be part of it.
